| On Saturday 27th. June
the Lodge held their Annual Charity Dance in Douglas Hall. The event was
a huge success the attendance being at capacity. The Brethren and their
partners danced the night away to the magnificent group Pipe Dream.
During the evening the Worshipful Senior Warden Brother Hugh Wright,
whose responsibility it was to organise the event, did a magnificent job
culminating in him undergoing leg waxing for charity. This coupled with
a sponsored walk or bike round the island of Millport and other events
during the year meant that the Lodge handed over £5000 to
the charity of their choice which this year was the Special Needs
Olympic Team.
